Three major benefits
of a governor which enables fast
discharge
1.
Time
saving
2.
Manpower
saving
3. Reduce the likelihood of occupational hazards
The governor boasts a safe and fast way of discharge, with the specially designed conduits at two sides of its base. The design enables steel wires to go through and without withdrawing the steel wires, a new governor can be replaced from the fixed base with ease.
Instructions:
Step
1: Remove the governor’s fastener① and machine
bolt②,
creating a space on
the two sides of the governor. Lift the steel cable③ to create
another
space.
Step
2: Lift the governor from one side along the base then from the other
side,
thus enabling a replacement to be
placed.
With the specially designed two conduits on the side that enables steel cables to go through and be removed from the base, the governor allows one mechanic to replace the unit at the governor, thus freeing up another mechanic from entering the elevator hoistway to loosen the steel cables with the elevator machine. This significantly reduces maintenance time and manpower. In addition, while mechanics no longer need to enter the elevator well to remove the steel cables, concerns over the mechanics’ safety can be addressed.
